Broth based soup is the best you can have when you are ill or not feeling well. This way, you can give all the essential nutrients to the body as you cannot eat all the solid food since you may often experience loss of appetite. The warmness and steam from the hot bowl of broth soup will calm your senses and help you recover soon.


Bananas are rich in potassium which is often depleted when you are ill. It also helps in better digestion wherein when you are sick or ill, metabolism is affected! Bananas also provide a dose of instant energy which is needed when you are not well.


Hydration is very important especially when you have a fever, sweat a lot or have vomiting or diarrhoea, which can cause you to lose a lot of water and electrolytes.
